What are the mortality rates of diseases and outbreaks of foot of the Rocky Mountains?

United States FMR frequency is the tick most common fatal transmitted by disease in the United States. Anyone bitten by an infected dog tick and where the infected tick remains for several hours can get RMSF. Despite its name, FMR is more common in the southeastern U.S. mark in the Rockies. The disease is more common in rural and suburban areas, however, occurs in urban areas like New York. The regions most affected are the South East, South West Central region (including northern Oklahoma and Texas), and some regions of North-East (Cape Cod, Long Island). Most cases were reported among the States of Central and Eastern Europe, like North Carolina and South, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. The 2 states with the highest incidence is in North Carolina and Oklahoma. Of cases have been reported in 48 states, Vermont and Hawaii is no exception. In North America, infections usually occur in spring in the South cases may occur in any month, including the winter months. From 1989-1996, there were over 4,700 cases in 46 states. Among the reported cases, 90% were occurred between April and September. More than 1,400 cases were reported in 2004.
